On Sunday, September 18, 2011, of Potomac, MD. Beloved wife of 55 years to John C. Hoyle; mother of John C. Jr. (Lori), Brian (Sherri), Mark (Donna), Michael (Christine) and Matthew (Kristen) Hoyle; grandmother of “BJ”, Jennifer, Jessica, Josh, Tyler, Melissa, Brittany, Christopher, Mick, Katie, Molly, Emily and Kelly; sister of Doris M. Earle, Raymond J. Shanley, Jr., Irene E. Shanley and Patricia F. Ray. Anne E. Hoyle was born on April 10, 1936 and raised in Washington DC. She worked as a Procurement Specialist for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for 25 years, receiving numerous awards and recognition. She retired in 1998. She was a long time member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church where she served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Always full of life, she especially loved her time with her children, her grandchildren, and her extended family. Relatives and friends may call at St. Raphael’s Parish Library, 1513 Dunster Road, Rockville, MD, on Wednesday September 21, 5 to 8 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Church on Thursday September 22 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
